REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. This anomaly was approximately 7.39 nm N-SW and 0.47 nm at its widest. It was black in color. The ocean currents near the time of the image aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly which were moving south at 1 kt. 



UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly was very dark in color but it was not completely distinguishable from natural phenomena in the area. There were known natural seeps nearby. Also, winds near the time of the image partially aligned, orientation wise, with the SW portion of the anomaly. Winds were coming from the E between 5-10 kts.
